POWERMAP - a brainchild of AAPICO ITS (AITS) founder Mr. Yeap Swee Chuan was first developed in Thailand 5 years ago. The software and maps for POWERMAP was fully developed in-house to create unique GPS Navigation System. POWERMAP is now ready to be introduced to the Malaysian public. Mr. Yeap Swee Chuan was born in Ipoh Perak, ventured into the car automobile business at the age 38 starting his first manufacturing plant in Thailand named Able Autoparts Industries Co. Ltd (AAPICO) in 1986. He is now Chairman and CEO of AAPICO Hitech Public Co. Ltd a listed company in Thailand. He has established himself as a leading car component maker for many international cars with business spanning Thailand, Malaysia, China and Singapore.

According to Mr. Yeap, venturing into the navigation business is a natural progression in his business of supplying car automobile components to many leading international car brands. Many vehicles are now fitted with GPS navigation device but lack reliable navigation software to drive the hardware. He hopes drivers are now confident to use GPS navigation loaded with POWERMAP.
